We are expert turf managers. Our goal is to give you a great looking lawn while also being responsible for the well being of the environmental needs. We attempt to use as many organic products as possible throughout the year. Part of environmental commitment is to group our products together so we make less trips in the truck, on the spreading machine, and prevent stressing your turf with unneeded trips.
Our program looks like this:
1. End of March or early April, Fertilizer & Pre-emergent with ammonium sulfate.
2. Middle of May Pre-emergent, grub preventer, 90 day fertilizer.
3. Middle of June broadleaf spray.
4. Labor-day, Biosolids Fertilizer w/iron & broadleaf spray. (late season grub prevention if needed)
5. October, Winter blend.
We work with local supply companies that allow us to make our own blends. This allows us to, for example, apply your pre-emergent, grub preventer, and fertilizer for 90 days all out of one bag. We also will spray at the same time that we are putting down fertilizer on the next round of applications.
Cutting Edge Services is putting down premium products with less visits to your lawn. You may see us a few times less than other companies, but the amount of products will be delivered to your lawn at the proper times. Your program is written for 5 applications, with the 5th being optional if you choose to compost. If you choose to compost again in the fall of this year, we will credit your last application to your composting bill.
